About our Erasmus Plus student, Sarah

Sarah’s interview

What is your job role, and what is your placement?

I am a Digital Marketing Assistant for Telita Laboratorio Textil, a studio made of three women who run creative workshops weekly while doing their individual textile-based work from tailor making, children’s clothes to digital design.

What are you enjoying most about your experience?

There are many things I’m taking away from this experience here in Seville.

It’s been really nice to gain experience with creative women that want my insight as well as give me feedback on what they are looking for from my work, so I am really developing as a designer.

The diversity of the things I am doing in and out of the role gives me confidence in areas such as photography and communicating with the amount of Spanish I know, and I have met some really lovely people as a result.

How do you think digital marketing is beneficial for companies?

Digital design at the base of it is communication both online and offline. If companies do it well, it could be the difference between attracting new customers or putting them off.

It’s beneficial because it’s a tool for sharing what that company wants to put out to the world that can attract like-minded people.

The summary

Sarah’s understanding of the impact marketing has on businesses and building engagement with its audiences pushes her marketing skills to support a small business like Telita and sharing their craft with the world!

She is gaining considerable relevant skills such as photography and design and knowledge about fashion and business.

We are delighted for Sarah and the valuable experience she is achieving with Telita!
