Fashion

For many people fashion is a form of self-expression from clothing to footwear, accessories and even hairstyles. It’s a form of lifestyle as fashion trends are a big part of peoples lives, especially on social media.

Flamenco Fashion in Seville

The traditional flamenco dresses are still very popular in Andalucía, especially during events and celebrations.

There are two kinds of traditional Flamenco dresses, one is worn by a dancer, Traje de Flamenca (Flamenco outfit) and the other dress is worn as a day dress, Traje de Gitana (Gitana outfit). Both outfits wouldn’t be complete without the shawl, hair, accessories (such as earrings, necklaces, shoes, etc.) and sometimes even an abanico (fan) which not only adds to the outfit, but it’s also a tool for communication and expression.

Internship

Throughout their fashion internship, our students learn more about working abroad and being independent. They acquire practical experience from the beginning to end which includes: fashion illustration/sketching, sourcing, sewing, fitting etc. Additionally, they learn about collaboration and the business side of running your own business.
