Plant Based Options

Posted

Finding vegetarian or vegan options in typical Sevillian bars might be quite tough. Other than patatas bravas or espinacas con garbanzos there might not be much to choose from.  That’s why we decided to create a blog post with some of our favourite places around Sevilla that serve a nice selection of plant based foods.

Milk Away

At Milk Away, you can get a healthy and fresh breakfast or brunch. With a wide selection of dishes to choose from. For example acai & smoothie bowls, yoghurt with fruit, salads, shakes, and sandwiches. All of their platters are made with fresh, regional ingredients. They provide both a table service and a delivery service with a great location in the city centre. If you’re also searching for gluten free options, this place is perfect!

Veganitessen

A lovely bar located at the Mercado del Arsenal near Triana. Has everything you want from a traditional Spanish bar except the fact that their food is all plant based. With their rich menu you definitely will need a minute to decide what to eat. The prices are very reasonable, just don’t forget to check their opening hours on their website here.

La Vegana

La Vegana is a pastry and brunch place located in the Triana district. They specialise in cakes and sweet treats made entirely dairy free. It’s the perfect place to sit down and have a coffee or order a delicious treat for a special occasion.

El Obrador De Pasta

El Obrador is amazing if you love ravioli and different types of pasta. They hand make all of their pastas using the freshest ingredients around. The flavours change daily depending on the season and day of the week. As well as the pasta, they have a bakery section where you can get fresh bread, empanadas, quiche and many more! It’s very close to OC Languages, so pay them a visit after your Spanish class!
