“Seeing the improvement of my students and their enthusiasm for English has been very rewarding. The four year olds learn everything so fast and it feels great to see them take in the teaching I give them. The older students’ progress is also great, watching them enjoy practising their English together and helping their conversation skills, whilst building a rapport with them makes me feel that I’m making a difference in their education.”

"I feel very well supported here. The teachers at OUIEA are so friendly and helpful, and I really couldn’t ask for a nicer director! As this is my first time teaching English, I was concerned I wouldn’t have enough experience to do the placement, but OUIEA allows me to move at my own pace, allowing me to observe lessons until I am comfortable teaching my own classes. I feel like OUIEA genuinely wants me to be happy and comfortable at my placement without feeling any pressure or stress. I have had plenty of support when planning lessons and discussing what I would like to gain from my time there. I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more from such an excellent employer."
