Sports Training & Performance

Posted

The girls from North Kent College were recently in Seville to participate in training at a sports centre. This remarkable opportunity allowed the team to enhance their skills under the guidance of UEFA licensed coaches while experiencing a range of exciting activities and exploring the beautiful city. From training sessions to adventurous escapades, the girls proved their mettle on and off the field. Here’s what they’ve been up to.

Training

The facilities offered to the girls offered an exceptional training environment, with access to some of the finest coaches in the industry. These skilled mentors imparted their wisdom and expertise, refining the players’ techniques, tactical awareness, and overall game strategy. The training sessions pushed the girls to their limits, helping them grow both individually and as a team. The commitment and resilience displayed by the players were truly inspiring, especially in the basking Spanish sun.

Exploring Seville

Beyond the football field, the team took the opportunity to immerse themselves in Seville’s captivating sights and experiences. During their free time, the girls visited iconic landmarks such as the magnificent Seville Cathedral and the amazing park of María Luisa. Moreover, they had the chance to explore both of Seville’s football stadiums, Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán and Estadio Benito Villamarín. These visits not only allowed the team to witness the rich football culture but also provided a valuable source of inspiration for their own journey.
